Dear Dr. Perez and the Othello School District Community,
On behalf of the students, staff, and Board of Directors of Happy Tree Town School District, I am writing to express our deepest condolences following the tragic loss of your three Othello High School students. There are no words sufficient to ease the pain of such a profound loss, but please know that our entire educational community is mourning alongside you.
The bond between a school and its students is sacred, and losing members of your "family" is a burden no district should have to carry. We recognize the immense strength it takes to lead through such a crisis while also providing the necessary mental health and counseling supports your students and staff require.
We stand ready to assist you in any way possible. Whether you need additional counseling personnel, administrative support, or simply the space to focus on your grieving families, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Our hearts are with the families of the students, the Othello High School faculty, and the entire Othello community during this incredibly difficult time.
