Bridging the Gap: Supporting Students Through Change
Transitioning to a new grade level can be a big deal for students and families alike. Sometimes, transitions can bring about mixed feelings of both excitement and anxiety about what comes next. In this Family event of the year, families will learn how to confidently support smooth school year transitions.
At the event:
📚 Participate in workshops to learn how to support your child's academic progress during the summer.
🎓 Access special support for your college-bound student to navigate the journey to post-secondary education.
🤝 Connect with other HTTSD families to share experiences and learnings.
🥡 Enjoy a free dinner for your family for a stress-free evening.
🧮 Activities for children while you learn:
- Childcare for elementary children, age 5 and older
- Explore electives (ms/hs students)

Happy Tree Town Schools is located in Dee, Oak Grove Oregon. We are a small unincorporated town in north central section of the state and we are about a few miles from Hood River. Our schools houses all students from grades kindergarten through 12th grade. Our enrollment is just under 148. (2022)
District History & Accomplishments
2011- District was created
2012- District Opens first school in Dee (k-8 grade)
2013- Secondary school Building opens (7-12 grade)
2014- Sports being offed
2015- District offers tutoring services
2017-District now serves free meals to students
2018- District giving awards for good attendance
2019- District recessive local funds for 5th grade trip
2020- Provide services to students and families that needed help during online learning.
2021- District Accepts International Students (19 Students from 6 countries)
2022- Primary School 1st Annual Water Park Trip (Wings & Waves Waterpark)
2023- Largest graduation class (29 students)
2024- Community Garden for residents of Dee
2025- Test Scores Rises up 26% more than last year (Math/Reading)
